Another day in the hospital

This past Monday I was back in the hospital do to preterm labor. I had a follow up appt last Friday and my Dr. took me off bedrest and so I did normal things all weekend and went to work on Monday. Early Monday morning the contractions started again...they were very consistent and so I called the Dr. She had me come in and hooked me up to monitors...where it showed I was having contractions every 2-5 minutes. So she sent me back to the hospital where the hooked me up to monitors, IV, and gave me 3 shots of Terbutaline. My cervix as of Monday was effaced 20-30% and so she prescribed bedrest and terbutaline pills. I will have a Dr. appt tomorrow as scheduled. I hope this is a sign that baby Addy is going ot be a sweet little angel!

Bedrest

I have been having contractions which I thought were braxton hicks contractions little did I know they were the real thing. I called the Dr. and they wanted me to go straight to the hospital. They hooked us up to a monitor and saw that I was indeed having real contractions. They said I was in preterm labor and so they gave me a shot of terbutaline to stop contractions and the also gave me a shot of betamethasone a steroid to mature Addison's lungs...I will go back today at 1:30 to get another steroid shot for Addison's lungs and they will put us on a monitor while they do this. I will go back to the Dr. office on Friday for follow ups and continue to go every week. They are shooting for her to stay in until Sept. 15 because that will put me at 36 weeks. I will be on bedrest for the remainder of my pregnancy...boring ha ha but I if this keeps Our little angel safe then that is what we have to do. Other than this everything is going great!

Here are some updated pics of Addison's room. It is getting filled up with all kinds of things. Also, a pic of me at 31 weeks (today)! Eric and I went on the hospital tour today and it made everything feel so real. We are so excited and cannot believe that our sweet little girl will be here in 9 weeks!
